Thanks for visiting my blog – I was really interested to find yours as I spend a year in Finland as an exchange student a long long time ago! LikeLike Reply Seriously. Tell me more! Where were you living? Have you come back to Finland since? Do you keep in contact with your host family? Ooh, sorry, too many questions 🙂 I get a bit carried away sometimes. LikeLike Reply Yes really! I was living in Helsinki, in Oulunkylä & went to the local school for a year. I was terribly bad at learning Finnish & only picked up a bare minimum of it, which I am still disappointed about. I’ve never been back (I’ve never been out of Australia since!) but stayed in touch with my first host sister, who is a few years younger than me. Sadly I lost touch with my second family.
