Yes really! I was living in Helsinki, in Oulunkylä & went to the local school for a year. I was terribly bad at learning Finnish & only picked up a bare minimum of it, which I am still disappointed about. I’ve never been back (I’ve never been out of Australia since!) but stayed in touch with my first host sister, who is a few years younger than me. Sadly I lost touch with my second family.
